History: Years ago Bob Fogal headed out on vacation wondering if it would make more sense to rent a nice house for his family instead of several hotel rooms. It did. But he found a wide range of quality in the available houses. This led to some uncomfortable surprises: homes that were not as nice as the ads described, or not up to the cleanliness standards the family expected. He also observed a lack of professional management of the properties rented. This resulted in miscommunication with property owners, delays in getting a confirmed booking, and other issues that didn’t happen with most hotel bookings.

There was an obvious need for a “super-service” property management company that offered properties beyond the ordinary, all the expected amenities, a high standard of cleanliness, standardized and efficient booking methods, and clear communication with guests. Desert Luxury Vacations was born. People loved the properties and service provided by DLV. Guests returned again and again.
